"So... It appears that Chiropteran really have been appearing..." Kazai said to herself as she stood looking down at a foot print that apparently had belonged to a Chiropteran. It was much too large and misshapen to have been that of a human, and it looked like no other animal which she would have expected to see in these parts of the forest. It was for that reason that she could come to no other conclusion than that it had been that of a Chiropteran.
Next to the foot print, there was a corpse. This corpse was the corpse of a dead human female, apparently middle-aged. She was drained of all blood, and aside from bite marks on her neck and both her legs broken, she appeared to have gone through no serious damage. Her blood was just completely drained. Kazai wasn't so worried about the human, but this did lead her to suspect the existence of yet another Chiropteran.
It had only been a week since she had learned that she and her Chevaliers weren't the only living Chiropterans around anymore. She had met another girl at the Naha City Park who appeared to have the ability to make more Chiropterans just as she did. It was rather odd that they should run into each other, but Kazai knew that it had to have been fated. There was something going on with these new Chiropteran sightings, and she wanted to get down to the bottom of this. She had always hoped to steer clear of humanity, but it appeared that other Chiropterans were about to meddle in human affairs.
"I wonder what the Chiropteran who made this was like," she pondered, but she could only imagine. She had never met a Chiropteran that was less intelligible than a human, so she assumed this one would also be. She had never met one with the instincts of a beast, and her knowledge on Chiropteran in general wasn't so extensive.
"I wonder what she was doing in these parts of the forest."

Kusan appeared behind Kazai, looking and studying the footprint of the chiropteran. As Kazai studied it, he did his own individual research. He walked up to the footprint and bent down, examing every single detail that was there. Hmmmmmmm.... Kusan toke out his sword and kept his gun in its holster. This would be something he could handle by himself. He then noticed the corpse and examined it also, it was bloodless. Legs broken and two neck bites. Kusan looked around and sighed. If he left the body here and it was found by locals, it would be a media frenzy. He had to dispose of it somehow. He got up cracked his knuckles, and stood in front of Kazai.
I wonder also Kazai. Anyway.. He turned around and pointed to a drop of blood around fifteen feet northwest of there. "It went that way, we will find it and dispose of the creature, then make our way back here and dispose of the body, just stay behind me, I'll keep you protected." His sword was sheathed, but he had his hand on it, ready to draw it at any time and destroy what comes near them.

Tsubasa observed the body from a distance, not really caring about the situation to a large extent. Besides, it wasn't necessarily his business either. The only reason that he was around was to stop these chiropteran from terrorizing the people, those who were innocent and did not deserved to be killed by such monstrous creatures like himself. He hated what he had become and he hated the person who made him what he was. Existing was painful, sad and at times, annoying. But if there was one person he hated more than Kazai, it would have to be Kusan. Why? Just because he was simple-minded and thought only of Kazai at all times. If there was anything he hated more than a monster, it would be a simple-minded one.
Once he heard Kusan speak, he thought it would be best if he dropped in to interject and poke fun at how stupid Kusan truly was. And so he did, jumping down from the top of a large tree, leaning up against it nonchalantly.
"That is rather bold and brave of you Kusan. But I say that you capture it and study it. That would be a smarter thing to do than just to exterminate it. As of right now, none of us know what Chiropteran can do or what their behaviors are like. Capturing it would provide us with more information than simply killing it. But of course, a beast like you...."
He glanced over at Kusan, casting a rather contemptuous look at him. "...would never think of something like that."

Kazai would pay little attention to Tsubasa's bickering, it really didn't make much of a difference unless it escalated to something more than that, at which point she would have to intervene. She didn't want to let anything happen to either of her chevaliers, which was the reason that she kept both of them around in the first place. The truth of the matter was that she needed them just as much as they needed her. They needed each other, and would have to protect one another.
For now, she had decided to put her focus on the matter at hand, and that was the footprint before her and the corpse on the ground. She turned to examine the corpse. It looked rather fresh, and if that were the case, it happened recently. She was able to deduce that it had to have been a Chiropteran like her to kill the woman. There were no other explanations. After all, Chevaliers needed only the blood of their master, they did not feast off of the blood of humans.
"I wonder if it was that girl we met the other day... Maybe she could transform and make herself larger or more monstrous," Kazai said under her breath as she spoke to herself.

"You make it sound as if you are not one yourself..."
Kiyoko walked passed Tsubasa with a calm expression, stopping next the old tree. The man was indeed smart, but whatever issues he had with Kusan could not be serious to the point of his constant mocking of him. They were all the same, the only differences came from how they were changed. But, these thoughts were hidden behind the young girls smirk as she continued towards the rather dry body of the deceased.
"Self denial doesn't become you Tsubasa...much less your constant show of superiority over others" Now at Kazai's side opposite of Kusan, Kiyoko knelt down and examined the body as well. It would be rather likely, but then...Tsubasa point was still valid. They didn't know as much about Chiropteran. At least, she didn't anyway.
"While I agree that killing it shouldn't be the only objective, we should only be caused to act if there is no other solution.Especially under the conditions that it just might be her..."
