Personality:
A calm and sweet nature. Yet behind her innocent eyes lie someone who has caused much pain to many people in order to survive. Polite, and shows her class well, she is able to work herself into many social circles and can easily disappear from them. While she is highly intelligent, she can at times come across naive and inable of serious decision making.
So you could say that Kiyoko is very unpredictable in her methods. Whether she is good or evil is also a question that comes to mind. It depends on her mood, so it would be wise to keep an eye on the signs in which she gives off. When she is very vocal, that means that she is interested in you. Though if she tends to be silent, it is best you try and find somewhere to hide...if you can that is.

Long blonde hair that stretches down her back and over her somewhat plump bottom, Kiyoko figure is athletic and well taken care of considering. Her eye are a fiery red, adding a somewhat brighter appeal to her creme colored skin. Her outfit consist of a long black jacket which covers her long sleeved sweater of dark brown. Then, her lower torso holds a black skirt with tall strapped boots over her feet.
History:
During an unexpected trip to Aichi, Japan, Melani Rogers happened to run into a young Sungi Susami. While the two were from different contients, their instant love for each other seemed almost as true as those heard of in fairy tales. Over time, Melani found herself draw more and more to Japan, intill she decided that she would live there and build a flower shop. But of course, this was only due to the fact that she couldn't bare to live without Sungi. So, the two were soon wed and they lived together. Sungi working as a sales man, while Melani in her shop. As expected, the two soon gave onto the world a child, which they named Kiyoko, after Sungi mother.
Showing signs of great intellect at a very young age, Sungi and Melani Susami couldn't have been more proud of their daughter. Raising her from a middle class foundation within the mountainous region of Japan, they couldn't help but be surprised at how brillant Kiyoko was. At age 10, she was already doing work of students far older than she was. Within time, she managed to surpass her fellow students all the way through high school, graduating at age 14. If this wasn't enough of a feat, the young genius continued to strive all the way through college, recieving her degree in molecular biology at 17.
Yet, in all her success, Kiyoko felt as if she she hadn't done anything truly special. All her awards, the praise of her intelligence, none of it seemed to matter so long as she continued to easily pass through everything. What the young girl wanted was a challenge, something that she couldn't accomplish with such ease. Though at times she wondered if she was asking too much of the world. Perhaps it was enough that she had come so far in such short time...maybe...that was all she needed in life to pass.
But then, while walking through the campus of her former college, she noticed an ad which requested assistance with a very interesting project. Though, this ad appeared to be more of a plea than a request. It stated that employers daughter was suffering from a rather rare diease, and that he needed assistance. Maybe it was selfish for her to think of this as a chance to actually be known for something important, especially at the expense of a dying little girl, but she couldn't help it. It was all too perfect...a challenge that was worthy of her. Something that she knew would be difficult for her to complete.
For two months, Kiyoko waited for a response to her application. She was rather surprised it was taking so long for a decision to be made. She almost wondered if perhaps it had already been filled and that she was wasting her time. But then, what little else would a 18 year old girl do? Sure, she did have a job, but a libraian wasn't what she planned to be for the rest of her life. Not only that, but she grew tired of the college guys flirts and often suggestive remarks towards her. Flattering as they were.
Then, word finally came in the form of a letter. Mr.Yamataki, the one who had posted the ad in the first place, was very impressed with her application. It even appeared that the reason his response was so late was due to him trying to check and see if all her credible actions were indeed true. In any case, he wanted her to come to his mansion to work at his side. He hoped that she would be able to leave her home and come live somewhere nearby. Of course, the college student jumped at this reason to leave home, writing that she would be there within the week to begin work.
Upon her arrival, Kiyoko knew instantly that she was a long way from the home that she knew. Here, her fame and success were nothing. She loved this feeling. Being unknown, having to crawl all the way to the top, it drove her all the more to make this work. But of course, the matter at hand still troubled her. The girl, the one that Mr. Yamataki had spoke of in his letters, her case was truly special. Never in her life had she heard of some of the symtoms in which he spoke of. The fact that the girl lived with them was a miracle in itself. Never the less, she knew that she would have to put everything she knew into this. There had to be someway of explaining these changes in her blood.
Within the months that followed, Kiyoko worked closely with Tazuna Yamataki within his labatory. Each learning from one another. But in honesty, it was she who was learning the most. His knowledge of biological, chemistry, and the human condition. It was stuff that made great teachers, which was pretty much what the man was to her. He was a great teacher, who appeared very dedicated. But, his focus wasn't only on his work. It was also shared upon his children as well.
Kazai and Kusan, brother and sister confined within the forest near the mansion. While she never understood Tazuna's reasons as to doing this, she never asked or questioned it. Mostly out of respect, due to the fact that it was a personal matter that she had no business worrying over. Though, in the back of her thoughts, Kiyoko always assumed it was tied to the mother. In any case, her attention was mostly on Kazai, the girl in which she was trying to save. Though, unlike most sick patients, she seemed perfectly fine. In fact, you couldn't even tell if anything was wrong with her at all. This was the very thing that caused her to wonder if she was even ill?
All other things appeared perfectly fine. Kiyoko remained at the mansion to late hours of the night. She worked within the confines of the lab, while Tazuna spent time with Kazai and Kusan. At least, that what she believed he was doing. All the while, she kept at her research. It was almost to the point where she seemed obesessed with figuring out what could be the solution.
Then, she cracked it. Kazai's blood, it wasn't just reproducing the standard amount of blood cells, it was exceeding it. Not only that, but Kazai blood was far more enchanced than any human on the planet earth. Showing this to Mr.Yamataki, he then told her the truth of Kazai's origins. That the girl was a chiropteran, one with special blood. While Kiyoko had heard reports of such beings, she had always thought they were nothing more than myths. Tazuna then told her that he wished to learn more about the Chiropteran, that it was a scientific undertaking unlike any other. Kiyoko hardly believed that something so...unnatural could be considered as scientific. Yet, when he spoke upon the possible uses of the blood, she became more and more interested in the possibilities.
After all, the properties within Kazai's blood were highly adjusted different body conditions.Meaning, that it could be placed into just about anyone. Its healing factors were another interest, it could cure dieases. All the problems in the world could be solved with one simple drop of blood, yet...at what cost? Kazai was still a human being...wasn't she? Not only that, but she was also Tazuna's daughter...blood related or not.
Kiyoko agreed to remain, under the impression that one life was worth saving millions. Though, she promised herself to use only limited amounts of the girl's blood. That way, less would be required from her for further research. Another few months went by and the project brought about many discoveries. Kazai's blood was special, so much so that it would be crime not to try and add it into remedies, treatments, things that could help society. Kiyoko could see that she was almost to her mark. Her goal was almost complete...yet there was still one problem. Kiyoko had yet to test it on anything...or anyone.
After all, she couldn't be sure if all her calculations were right or not. After much discussion, Kiyoko volunteered herself to be the first to attempt it. While she knew somewhat all of what would happen, the reports she had used had never been clarified as fact or fiction on the limits of the Chiropterans.
In drinking Kazai's blood, Kiyoko left herself to fate and the hope that Tazuna and her research had not be for nothing. For three days after, she felt sick to her stomach, body weak and pale as she laid in her bed. She felt as if something was choking her on the inside, draining her of all life. It was hard to breath, to think, to do anything. All Kiyoko could do was look up towards her ceiling, and jot down notes of each experience she felt.
But then, after that she felt fine. Kiyoko felt the changes almost instantly. Her stamina had increased highly, her senses tuned to almost everything, and her strength and speed were incredible compared to only a week ago. She reported everything to Tazuna, telling him that this was the greatest discovery in the world and that they should quickly inform the media or the board of health. But, he calmed her down, stating that they still needed to know to what extent the changes would last.
So, the test continued, the research resumed, yet Kiyoko was never the same after that day. She soon found herself unable to consume food. Its taste was unable to satisfiy her as it once did. In fact, nothing seemed to quench her thirst. The girl needed something...something that almost foriegn to her. Kiyoko...wanted blood.
As the years passed, the college student found herself taking more and more of the small samples of Kazai's blood. While they were small dozes, they were enough to keep her going. It worried her daily. The fact that she was drawn to only enjoying blood and not food was a side effect she had not expected. But, such a side effect mattered little to Tazuna. In fact...very little mattered to him at that moment. For his eyes seemed only upon Kazai.
She was soon sent away early, forced from the mansion when it became late. Kiyoko began to see very little of Kazai, only recieving samples of her blood and little feedback from her employer. Then, one morning, she arrived to the mansion early. While this wasn't normal for her, the reason was rather important. Sadly, she had forgotten to retrieve a sample of the girl's blood for...personal consumtion.
She almost wondered if Tazuna knew about what was occuring within her? After all, he had to have seen that the number of samples were quickly disappearing from the stock. Perhaps, this was a sign that it was time to look for a cure for herself...if there were any. But, all those thoughts faded when she found what appeared to be a headless corpse not too far from the mansion....
Weapons:
Whip: A black leather rope that Kiyoko keeps at side at all times. Its handle is covered in steel, allowing quite a bite of damage if she every has to use it in close quarters.
Special Abilities:
Transformation Kiyoko abilities are not limited to only strength, speed, and healing. Over the time she has been transformed, she has learned that her skills go far passed only this. A unique trait would be her ability to change her form into any living creature. Her ranges is between two sizes.Meaning, that she can become about as small as a mouse, yet as big as her current size All creatures outside of this are impossible for her to transform into, due to the strain it would put upon her.But this power only allows her to gain access into just about any place she wants. She can either take the idenity of someone she has seen passing by, or turn into an animal that is common within that area to avoid suspision.
