Thank you for taking the time to read this section of the board. It means you’re a responsible person, as we assumed you read these rules before doing anything on the site. It is important to know what the rules are, because for all you know, there could be a rule in which you must make a human sacrifice at the end of each month to continue being a member. You wouldn’t want to do that, as you would have to deal with a mess and blood doesn’t like to come out of carpets. Plus it would be awkward receiving a pm “You forgot your payment.” Be aware that their might be revisions done at any time, so please check these out once in a while. Though it’s safe to say “Human sacrifice needed”, won’t ever be added.
1. Be polite and show respect: This means you be nice to people, even when you want to be a jerk. Treat people the way you want to be treated; except for the times you want to be insulted and degraded. The staff isn’t tolerant of people who go against this rule. Just be warned, if you make fun of people, for certain things, or harass them, even if you called it a ‘joke’, you might find yourself banned. This rule is against ‘flaming’, ‘trolling’, or with the intent to purposely offend or attack people.
2. No spamming: Is excessive and needless posting. It is be random out of character chatter on the in character role playing board. Also it’s advertising in the wrong spot. Just post in the appropriate spots and you’ll be fine.
3. Advertise correctly: There’s a guest board called, “Ad Board”. That’s where all advertisements will go. No doing it on other boards, in the c-box, or pms [unless granted permission by who you are sending it too].
4. No porn: In compliance with Proboards' rules, we can’t show porn and other provocative material, of any kind. You must help us, by not posting porn or links to porn. Posting such material may get you instantly banned.
5. Keep account information safe: Also in compliance with Proboards' rules, we don’t give out passwords to anything or anyone. Staff will never ask for you passwords or to passwords to your e-mails of different accounts. You also can’t share accounts. This so we know Ensain is really Ensain, posting certaint things better left unposted. Also, if you don’t want people to know information about you, don’t post it. You are able to hide information, required for registration: such as e-mail, age, and sex by going into your profile.
6. Want to post on the rp boards?: You wait until your character profile has been accepted by a member of staff. If you do so, you’ll be warned with post deleted. If you continue to do so, you’ll be banned.
7. Cursing: Keep it minimal. A character may say ‘shit’ if, say, about to be rip in half by an angry royal vampire. It shouldn’t be the every 3rd word in their conversation. It goes for the c-box also.
8. Questions or problems: Let the staff know. We are here to deal with any wrong-doers and answer questions on rules, plots, profiles, mostly anything. We are happy to help and will give you the answers needed.
9. Staff: What we say goes. If we make a decision, you have no choice to follow it. If you feel that a decision should be over-turned or looked at calmly and politely present your case. We’ll examine it, and tell you if we are making the change or if the original decision still stands.
10. Umbrella Rule: Don’t assume something not covered in the rules mean the unlisted action is legal. Rule of thumb, don’t know if it’s allowed or not, ask staff before doing it.
