[/u] Return of the Chiroptera...[/size] It has been 50 long years since the last Chiroptera outbreak in which the Chiropteran known as Saya, confronted and defeated her sister Diva. Ever since, the world has remained free of the Chiroptera. Diva's eggs, which contained two young Chiroptera of Royal blood, were locked away deep within the the Red shield Base where they were heavily guarded by the Schiff, an elite group of Artificial Chiropteran created by the Red Shield. Unfortunately, around 20 years ago, the eggs were stolen from under the noses of the Schiff. Many in Red Shield think that the theft of the eggs was related to a recent controversy which had been sparked between members about the fate of the eggs. While some members believed that the eggs should be destroyed, some had also believed they should be saved for use at another date or for study and research.
Now, in the year 2055 a large number of murders within Okinawa began occuring, which the Government has linked back to a new breed of Chiropteran. Unfortunately, other than incredibly large footprints and extensive damage left behind, which is characteristic for Chiropteran battles, there is no physical evidence linking the crimes back to the Chiroptera. Even more baffling, the Chiroptera seem to disappear after their initial attacks and are magnificently masking their presence.
After having realized the threat at hand, a mysterious international organization known as the Red Shield sprang into action. Understanding the threat posed by Chiroptera, the Red Shield hoped to end this pandemic ASAP. Knowing that a Royal Chiropteran would be the only person who could save humanity, they went to check on Saya at her resting place. Unfortunately, all that was left in her resting spot were various blood stains. Hagi himself had also disappeared. All hope appeared to be lost.
Regardless, the Red Shield refused to forfeit to the Chiroptera. It was time for them to reveal their secret weapons, the Schiff, to hunt down and destroy the Chiroptera. These Schiff, who had been raised purely and solely as killing machines for the Red Shield, quickly and effectively began exterminating Wild Chiroptera, but no matter how many were exterminated, more would continue to appear.
What is the cause of this outbreak of Chiroptera? What is the purpose? Will the world be able to survive without their savior Saya? It's up to you! [/center] |
