Roleplay Rules
1. Keep your RP posts in 3rd person
2. Make your roleplay posts as descriptive as posible. NO ONE LINERS! Try to keep them at a paragraph minimum. That is a minimum of at least 5-8 decent sentences.
3. Don't be too graphic or descriptive. Try to keep things on a downlow... I don't mind you having fun, but just don't go too overboard. If you go overboard and I will adjust your post and then tell you that it was too descriptive, etc. Leave some things to the imagination.
4. On the same note, if you feel that a post might be too violent or too provocative, please put a warning, as such:
Warning: The post(s) below might be slightly provocative, so please do not read if such things bother you. Thank you.
Same thing goes for violent posts.
5. On a similar note, please try to keep stuff Rated PG-13, descriptive, but not too descriptive. (Don't describe every single detail. Leave some things to the imagination.)
6. While you're in the RPG Boards: IC (In Character) POSTS ONLY! Don't post out of character unless you absolutely need to, and then, if you do, type OOC (which means Out Of Character) and then write what you need say.
7. NPC's, (Non Player Characters) or other characters that you play within your post, ALWAYS go in a different color. The same goes if you're RPing more than 1 character.
8. You must wait until your character is approved to begin Roleplaying.
9. You may not modify your character's race unless you have the permission of an admin.
10. After joining the RP you must read all of the profiles of the characters you interact with. This will help lessen OC ignorance so that you know how to make your character interact with the other person's character IC. Additionally, you must have a link to your character's profile in your signature before you rp with them.
11. Don't double post unless it is absolutely necessary. Just modify it.
12. Your character may only be in two threads at a time. Only one of these may be a plot thread/npc thread.
13. If you're going to be in the rp, make sure you can dedicate at least one post a week, or at least notify everyone on the Farewell Board before leaving. After two weeks of inactivity without notification, your roleplay characters may be deleted, erased, or adopted. We want to make sure that you understand that if you make a character for this site and disappear without notification, it may be given to someone else and cannot be reclaimed without the permission of the person the character was given to.
14. If you wish to get rid of a character, you may choose to recycle them, allowing new members to use them. You may also kill them off, or just remove them from rp action. If you rp a canon character, it will be recycled after two weeks of unexcused inactivity.
15. If one of your characters die, please notify and admin or moderator, who will move them to the deceased character board.
Please keep these rules in mind during your roleplay ventures.
Thank you for reading the rules. If you have any questions, you may post them in the here and wait for a moderator or admin who is clear on the rules to answer.
